1/4 cup Arnica flowers
1/4 cup Saint Johns Wort flowers
1/8 tsp. Cayenne
60 drops Lavender essential oil
1/2 tsp. Camphor or 20 drops Clary Sage essential oil
1 cup Sesame Oil or other carrier oil
Combine the Arnica and the Saint Johns Wort in a wide-mouthed glass jar. Pour the carrier oil over the herbs to cover. Place a cheesecloth square over the top of the jar, securing tightly with a rubber band. Let this stand in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks. Strain the herbs off and add the remaining ingredients. Shake well and apply liberally into the affected area, rubbing the oil gently in circular motion into the skin. Use as needed.
